A Brief History of Our Company

In 1976 General Funding & Leasing opened for business in Pennsylvania. The founding principals,
having then eight years of valuable and proven experience, provided the auspices for the
firm to finance & lease aviation - marine assets, municipal - corporate rolling stock,
hospital equipment, and computers. Later in the mid - 1980's the firm
involved itself in commercial real estate finance as the interest
rates changed and the market improved substantially. The
Pennsylvania firm was sold in 1990 and the principals
relocated to South Florida and subsequently formed
the new General Funding & Leasing, Inc.
